Response to Wendy Payton's Nurturing Essentials Foot and Body Care line has been wonderful!!
Each lotion contains a soothing combination of shea butter, sunflower and safflower oil blended with essential oils. This is a wonderful moisturizing treatment for the body, hands and feet.
Essential Oil Blends: This product can be used as a body and foot oil and also added to the soaks for the feet and body. The lemongrass synergy blend and rose oils are very rich and luxurious, excellent for dry and/or mature skin. The blend includes macadamia nut oil and jojoba oil which is very close to human sebum so that the absorption rate is extremely high for very effective moisturizing. The other scents (lavender, tangerine-ginger, and peppermint synergy) are in a blend of apricot, organic sunflower and organic safflower oils. These blends are somewhat lighter with an easy glide. The different scents instill different properties and appeal to different preferences.
Uplifting, stimulating, toning, reduces muscle soreness and is purifying.
Relieves stress and tension, works as an astringent, cooling and rehydrating dry skin, an antidepressant.
Anti-inflammatory, relaxing, calming, soothing (good for burns and acne).
Warming, uplifting, antispasmodic, relieving muscle aches and pains, helps insomnia.
Stimulating, awakening, fights fatigue and relieves headaches.
Similar to the lotions in ingredients but luxuriously whipped, making this the ultimate to moisturize. This can be especially effective on hands, feet, and elbows.
French sea salts and Dead Sea salts are the main components of this fine grained bath salt product. It works well for both foot soaks and baths, using about ¼ cup of the soak and 1 TBSP of the oil. In addition, this product can be used as a foot or body scrub. To apply to the body, use about ¼ cup of the soak and 1 Tbsp of oil with a few drops of water to moisten to make a paste (add water sparingly to avoid salt disintegration). Gently apply to dampened skin. Not recommended as a scrub for sensitive skin or to be used on the face.
The array of ingredients (Oat flour, cornmeal, sea salts, organic cane sugar, and essential oils) creates a soothing scrub (close to a gommage) to gently exfoliate feet, hands and body. As a body scrub, you will need to shower afterwards, rinsing without using soap so that the oil can remain, continuing to nourish the skin. It is best when applied to dampened skin.
Lemongrass Footcare Ritual
This is a wonderful way to take care of your soul and soles!
Fill a bowl or basin (large enough for your feet) with as warm water as is comfortable. Stir in 1 Tablespoon of the Nurturing Essentials Footcare Soak, 1 teaspoon of the Nurturing Essentials Footcare Oil and allow your feet to luxuriate for 15 minutes.
Pat feet to remove dripping water, but keep those tootsies fairly damp for the scrub. Using about 1 Tablespoon of the Nurturing Essentials Footcare Scrub for each foot, scrub the entire foot, especially around the heel. (Your hands will be appreciating this also.)
Rinse your smooth and glowing feet with mildly warm water, dry and then apply Nurturing Essentials Footcare Lotion.
Your feet will thank you!
